For Every Season was created by sustainable food pioneer Barny Haughton, chef-proprietor of Bordeaux Quay and Quartier Vert restaurants, and produced by the Cookery School.
For Every Season focuses on the best of British seasonal ingredients. It includes recipes from Barny and the Cookery School as well as contributions from famous foodie names such as Rick Stein, Darina Allen, Mitchell Tonks, Sophie Grigson, Xanthe Clay, Prue Leith and Raymond Blanc.
As well as recipes, For Every Season includes sections on gardening, store cupboard and kitchen essentials, a list of our favourite cookery books and a directory of advice on sustainable living.
The Cookery School at Bordeaux Quay operates on a not-for-profit basis. All profits from sales of For Every Season will go towards our Community Food Education Programme — around which the Cookery School revolves.
The programme delivers cookery workshops and courses to schools, nurseries and community groups (for both adults and children) at a reduced cost, ensuring that the Cookery School and its courses are made as accessible to as many people as possible
